W swojej pracy badawczej koncentruje się głównie na zagadnieniach zapobiegania zachowaniom agresywnym wobec personelu medycznego oraz metodach ograniczania stosowania środków przymusu w ochronie zdrowia.
W latach 2020- 2024 członek Core Group i Leader WP 5 projektu FOSTREN: Fostering and Strengthening Approaches to Reducing Coercion in European Mental Health Services (COST 19133).
Członek European Violence in Psychiatry Research Group.
